AJ Theatrical Productions was founded in 2010 by professional actress, writer and director Jacqueline Turnbull. The company works with the best practitioners in the industry enabling them to create productions for stage, television and film of the highest production value. The talented team hold a wide variety of skills including filmmaking, dance, acting, singing, costume making, prop & set design, film making, script writing, directing and choreography. Since 2010 we have produced shows in over 20 different theatres across the north east of England. We pride ourselves in our exceptional production values as well as niche and bespoke scripts.

AJ Theatrical Productions are back for their 5th Christmas pantomime in Hartlepool, and this year they’re bringing you the magical tale of Cinderella!
Get ready for a sparkling adventure packed with laugh out loud comedy, spectacular songs, dazzling costumes, magical moments, and plenty of audience participation. With returning favourites; Hartlepool’s much-loved comic Phil Reid as Buttons and a whole host of talent.
With stunning sets, talented performers, and the high energy entertainment that AJ Theatrical Productions is known for, Cinderella promises to be our biggest and most magical pantomime yet.

AJ Stage Schools have been running for over 15 years in locations across the North East of England. We currently have two schools based in YARM & NORTHALLERTON!
Our Saturday morning stage schools and holiday workshops bring together almost 100 students each week to sing, act, dance and build confidence. AJ Stage School runs classes which develop confidence and technique in performers of all ages and abilities. Specialising in Acting, Singing and Musical Theatre dance techniques, The school is taught by fully trained industry professionals, led by industry professional teachers!

Our writer Jacqueline Turnbull has a breath of knowledge and experience in writing for pantomime, and is open for commissions for numerous projects across the UK.
Unlike many production companies, every AJ show is completely bespoke. We work closely with venue management, integrating localised references, topical humour, and culturally relevant elements to create a show that truly resonates with each audience.
